I believe every design tells a story. As a queer designer who enjoys working with non-profits and small start-ups I have found myself working with a variety of people. I have experience in web, branding, and print design.
I’m a Graphic Designer with over 10 years of experience. I focus on visual thinking and design in the fields of brand identity, user interface, as well as print and motion graphics. Oh, and I'm also a huge comic-book nerd who loves to sing to his husband, cat, and dog on a nightly basis.
Hey! I'm an Art Director and Designer, currently at tech education company, Codecademy. Looking to connect with other queer creatives. And I'm hiring a brand designer - come work for us!
I am asexual. This has taken me all my (dating) life to realize who I am. Within society, I see we are highly focused on the LGBTQI+, which is great!! They should be supported, but what about the A? What about us asexuals? We are such an "odd" group because sexualizing isn't in our nature. I want there to be more talks/awareness in society about asexuality. I always felt pressured or "not okay" to be asexual. "Oh, it's just a phase." "Once someone you have s** with who makes you feel good, you won't be whatever you think you are." These are two quotes I've heard so much while dating and opening up to my friends. Why do we always have to be sexual? Can we focus on the emotional intimacy? Dating has been very difficult because I am a people pleaser. I'm afraid of getting myself in a situation that could put me in harm.
As a designer, I enjoy layout and branding (short and sweet unlike above, haha).
I am a queer non-binary designer specializing in the creation and ideation of brand building strategies. I work with agencies and startups to create human centered design!
As a multi-disciplinary artist running my dynamic design studio in the Mojave Desert, I design for ethical, purpose-driven people and their businesses.
I’m a multi-disciplinary art director and designer. I’ve been fortunate to work in-house for brands like Puma, The North Face, Samsonite, and JanSport specializing in color, materials, and trend. My freelance work has primarily been dedicated to working on brand design for various non-profit organizations. Currently, my professional work consists of art direction, design, and management for the health and wellness website, Greatist.com. My personal work is centered around exploring various parts of my identity; often by “resurfacing” the incredible work of the Black, Queer, and/or Trans elders and ancestors that have come before me. I enjoy using tools like graphic design, curation, and photography to create multi-media experiences.
