I have just recently discovered my love for UX design as I only decided to pursue my Master's degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology after the COVID-19 pandemic shut down my industry (hospitality). I then decided to also start the Google UX Design Masterclass and now I'm just looking for some professional experience and or networking advice. I have lived in LA for about 12 years and I love my pup Mister RJ 'mochachino' Bass

    They/Them

I am an audio engineer and translator who has recently transitioned to a career in UX design. I am an advocate for disability rights and accessible technology, and I am hoping to gain more knowledge as to how to make my designs more accessible to all communities. Originally from Portland, Maine, I currently live in Austin, Texas with my partner and cat. I'm a musical composer and performer who loves video games and horror films. I also provide feng shui consultation as another design-related hobby! I look forward to connecting with others who share the same vision of a more accessible world, and learning more about the field of UX as I journey through my career. It's also possible that you found your way here because you heard my name in the song "Hot Topic" by Le Tigre. You've come to the right place, because contrary to Internet lore, I am a real person! I'm old family friends with the band and I designed the artwork for their Feminist Sweepstakes album back in 2001.
